This week founder of We Go Outside Too, Marlon Patrice spoke to us about setting up the group after the death of his son, and the impact getting outdoors has had not only on himself, but the growing We Go Outside Too community.
"When you see people's faces, the reaction of other people who wouldn't usually do these things and you hear their responses, that fills my cup. They love it, they enjoy it. Asking "when is the next one?", which is what I always wanted. It's not only benefitting myself; it's benefitting everyone else who is involved."

We Go Outside Too was founded in 2020. This active group is challenging the barriers to nature and demystifying the outdoors by empowering the inner city Black Community to experience its physical, mental and spiritual benefits. Using his own experience of the healing power of nature, Marlon has created a safe space for anyone to access the outdoors.

Over the weekend we went to the Kendal Mountain Festival where Founder Marlon of We Go Outside Too, spoke about the summer residential they did with Osprey.
I personally found the Lake District was visually pleasing and I embraced the lack of noise pollution, felt like totally bliss and peace āš¾
